Katharina Weischede started her business ‘Slime Princess’ at just 11 years-old.
Her slimey journey started during her school’s science fair, in which whilst researching
about her group’s science project, Oobleck, she found out about slime. She frantically
searched through the internet and tried heaps of recipes but none of them worked for

me, so decided to make her own.

 

She began to sell the slimey product to her peers and soon expanded outside of school
(After being gently told off by her principal). She created the logo, name, website,
product design, slime production recipes/methods, been in contact with suppliers and
marketed the product across New Zealand (and Australia). Now Katharina
Weischede’s slimes are sold on www.slimeprincess.co.nz and markets across New

Zealand.

 

Katharina Weischede and ‘Slime Princess’ have appeared and been featured in several
newspapers and media such as NZHerald, Stuff, The Project NZ, TVNZ, The Morning
Show Australia, The Wendyl Nissan Show, Radio New Zealand, and much more.
